We all want this, right? More leads. We spent hours upon hours on social media, posting and hoping that we have made a difference and that someone will reach out.
Here are three ways to help:
Content - Make sure that your content is relevant to your followers. For heavens sake, please don’t post the same generic post that the rest of the insurance agents at the same company are posting. That won’t get you leads, that will get you unfollows and people not paying attention to your posts.
Timing Of Posts - Did you know that there are certain times of the day to post on each social media channel that works best for each platform? Check out my cheat sheet here.
Engagement - Keep tabs on your posts and how the engagement is. Tabs meaning; content and timing. Then you will know what to post and when. For instance - my blog post that I shared on my social media channels about leads- is a hot topic with my followers. I’m still getting views after posting it two weeks ago. It’s exciting to see the numbers climb up!
The biggest objection I hear from business owners is that they don’t have enough time to post on social media, however if you knew how many potential sales were being left on the table by not doing so - they would. Understandably the ROI on social media isn't always immediate, just like building your network and relationships social media management takes time.
